{"id":530,"date":"2014-03-05T15:36:34","date_gmt":"2014-03-05T15:36:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.vwlowen.co.uk\/?p=530"},"modified":"2014-03-06T15:12:10","modified_gmt":"2014-03-06T15:12:10","slug":"happy-new-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vwlowen.co.uk\/blog\/?p=530","title":{"rendered":"Happy New Year!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For one reason and another, this is the first opportunity since the New Year I&#8217;ve had to spend some time at the computer to write up some odds and ends.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, the &#8220;mystery&#8221; object hinted at in my last blog post is a <a href=\"http:\/\/vwlowen.co.uk\/arduino\/brakelights\/brakelights.htm\">Brake Lights Tester.<\/a>  A little gizmo to help check your vehicle&#8217;s brake lights when you&#8217;re on your own.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been busy with another project recently. One problem I&#8217;ve encountered with my original <a href=\"http:\/\/vwlowen.co.uk\/picaxe\/weather-station\/weather-station.htm\">PICAXE Weather Station<\/a> project is that the indoor display unit is tethered to the computer in order to provide the online weather data.
