{"id":43,"date":"2013-02-13T09:16:27","date_gmt":"2013-02-13T09:16:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.vwlowen.co.uk\/?p=43"},"modified":"2013-04-09T06:38:07","modified_gmt":"2013-04-09T06:38:07","slug":"unexpected-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vwlowen.co.uk\/blog\/?p=43","title":{"rendered":"An unexpected visit.."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, despite the heavy snow, my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.furberroofing.co.uk\/\">roofers<\/a> have returned today to carry on with the job.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.vwlowen.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/fence-day2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-44\" alt=\"fence-day2\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.vwlowen.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/fence-day2-300x224.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vwlowen.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/fence-day2-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/vwlowen.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/fence-day2.jpg 527w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s what I call dedication!<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s uncertain whether they&#8217;ll be able to re-set the two end ridge tiles today because of the wet conditions but they&#8217;re tradesmen in whom I have every confidence in their decision &#8211; unlike the <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.vwlowen.co.uk\/?p=15\">cowboys<\/a> who attempted the job late last year.<\/p>\n<p>Update: Even the special low temperature quick setting mortar holding the ridge tiles wouldn&#8217;t set so they&#8217;re coming back tomorrow, hopefully.
