I wanted the natural wood grain to show through so I used <a href=\"http:\/\/www.homebase.co.uk\/webapp\/wcs\/stores\/servlet\/ProductDisplay?langId=110&amp;storeId=10151&amp;partNumber=581866\">a preserver<\/a> rather than the usual &#8216;paint&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Now that the shrubbery has had chance to re-establish itself, I think it looks quite nice even though the preservative was a bit expensive!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.vwlowen.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/fence.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-268\" alt=\"fence\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.vwlowen.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/fence-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/vwlowen.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/fence-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/vwlowen.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/fence.jpg 528w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I was chilling out after a shower a couple of evenings ago when I spotted a car pulling up outside. \u00a0The neighbour on the &#8216;other&#8217; side of the new fence \u00a0popped round and presented me with a super potted Azalea! \u00a0I thought a really nice gesture and it looks superb.
